  • VIC WTB/Borrow 36mm socket for oil filter

Anyone have a 36mm socket I can borrow or buy to change my oil filter? ECS is out of stock and everywhere else seems to charge $40 for something I'll only use a couple of times at the most!

    I'm in Melbourne.

I think Transporter made one out of plywood

or they are on eBay for about $20 but from USA/UK

From flat steel, but I also mentioned that it could be made from plywood.

I'm not creative enough to craft my own, and not patient enough to wait for another delivery from the US. I actually rang up All Tools and they have one for $20 which is pretty good.

Don't forget, you'll need a torx bit to get the plastic covers off too, can't recall which size at the moment. T30?
