    Hi mates...

So, i'm stay in melbourne for 1 moth, and planing to make an engine swap on my mk4 gti in brasil.

so i'm looking for some wrecked passat r36 ou cc for some ecu and harness.. the engine i`ll buy in brazil because is cheaper.

and 3.2 harness maybe works too but better if its the right one.

soo if any one can help me, i'll very glad.
    thanks mates

R36 is fsi and r32 isn't. This means loom ecu are not interchangeable. Your best option would be to use an r36 motor and convert it to port injection and run an aftermarket ecu or just run an r32 motor with aftermarket ecu

hi pedies, i didnt know that mk5 r32 wasn't fsi, because we dont have it on brasil, but we have passat, passat cc and touaregs that have this 3.6 engine, but i want to run full fsi on my mk4, so i need the full engine r36 harness and ecu.. there are feel runing this setup all over the world.

soo i realy need a wreked r36 passat or other vw that runs this fsi engine, cc run this engine over here too?

      thanks mate.

If you were to run a fsi motor you have no choice but standard ecu.
Which then means you will need the instrument cluster, key, reader coil (barrel, or slot in passat) And also im fairly certain you will need to set up a mock canbus gateway to fool the ecu.

A few companies are toying with an aftermarket ecu that can run fsi injectors, but until then its very difficult.

no pedies, i`ll take off the immo and run the fsi ecu almost like a standalone, and rewire to send the signals to oem mk4 dash.. there are a feel runing like this in vortex, i have searshed about it allready... it will work not easy but will....

so i only need the ecu and wires from engine...

soo i need to know if some one have ideia where to find a wrecked passat r36 to buy this parts.

          thanks again mate..

I'd get in touch with City Performance.

            Contact

I'm pretty sure they are the guys who have worked with a few R36/R32 engines.
