I'm not sure what it's like in oz, but in the uk we can still get these new from the dealer for not ally of money. In fact I've seen second hands ones go for more because alot of people dont realise it.

Yeah you are right they are available new, but as far as I am aware not in Australia and sadly shipping on these is over the odds from USA/uk. I'd pay to ship some alloys over but some cheap steels that cost more to freight it is hard to take.

You can order them from a VW dealer, they still sell them new in Aus. I think they are about $460 for a set.

im not sure what the exchange rate is like but i think they are about £200 a set over here. (UK)

Yeah, easiest thing to do is just buy new ones - over here they are about $110 (nzd) each.
