ACT WTB: set of 225/45/R17s

hey guys,

got some new wheels on the way but they're 17" and my stock tyres are 16". Does anyone have some 225/45/R17s they want to let go for cheap ?

Not sure if you can view this but a set of new Federals in your wanted size is for sale over on JDMST - FS - NSW - Brand New Federals S95 225/45/17. The guy wants $800 though.

I got Kumho KU31 from Tempe around $150/cnr for that size a while back.

mikinoz: how do you rate the Kumho ? how would they stack up against the Federals ?

The Kumho KU31 are fine. People run them on GTI, Cooper S etc no stress, but do get noisy as time goes on and they wear.

I have some on my Peugeot 308 and will buy them again and again.

what do people usually recommend-- I know P Zeros are pretty exy, but do people use P7s here? any good experiences ? how would these rate against Bridgestone Potenzas or the Federal S95s ?
