Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    SA for anyone thats wrecking a mk1 golf

    hey all
    just asking, for anyone that is wrecking a mk1 golf and is willing to cut something off of it for me i would be very greatful.
    I'm after the drivers side handbrake guide tube that is welded to the underside of the body, directly below the handbrake pivot.
    If anyone could cut that off for me as close to the body as possible that would be great
