Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW Wanted: MKVI 90TSI or 118TSI

Apologies for posting here but can't wait another two months (!) before being allowed to post in 'Cars Wanted' forum

After a 90TSI with DSG + Comfort Pack or a 118TSI with DSG. Budget around $20K which would be better than trade-in prices.

    Cheers
    MY09 118TSI - SOLD

Since this is posted in the wrong section, I guess it's not too bad form to comment

I thought veedubs kept their prices well. 20k for a year old car that sold at 32k+OTR seems a bit opportunistic, no?

      1. The early MKVIs are now two years old.
      2. Redbook quotes as low as $18500 for a Trade In.
      3. There are cars on carsales.com.au for $23~24K that haven't moved for months.

Someone might be interested in a quick sale
