  • NT BBS RS 16 inch, Mk2 Golf/BMW e30 fitment

    Hi all,

Looking for a set of 16 inch (must be 16 inch) BBS RS rims (genuine only, not interested in replicas), 4x100, 57mm centre bore, preferably 7-8 inch wide. I do realise these are extremely rare however am prepared to pay appropriately if I find what I'm looking for.

Does anyone have a set they would be interested in selling? Please PM me if you do.

    Cheers,
    Dom

Unfortunately I don't have a set, only a pair. They're the RS003 so are the 16x7 ET25 57.1mm 4x100 version. I bought these hoping to complete the set one day but no such luck yet. Willing to sell if you find another pair I guess.

Not going to be an easy find unless you're prepared to ship them from the US/UK/Europe.
Other option is find a set with different PCD and have them filled and drilled to suit.
There is a mint set on eBay at the moment but they aint cheap!

Yeah, I've seen them, they're nice but if I'm going to spend that much money I might as well get the real deal.

          Genuine 15's?

There's also some 16's on ebay but are PCD 5x114 but could be re-drilled.

Yeah, I've seen those too, but I really want 16s (this is for the bimmer - the plan is to put the 15s currently on the e30 onto the GTI).

The 16s on eBay are just too expensive considering I would still need to get them redrilled, plus the offset is no good for an e30 or Golf... I could get proper RS003 from the US for that money. I think at the end of the day that's probably the most likely route I'm going to take...

            BBS RS

Apparently they ship wheels to Australia for ~US$580 per set (already enquired). Obviously duty/tax/GST still applies on top of that, but I would be getting wheels requiring no mods whatsoever.

Still hoping someone has a set in Aus for sale for a reasonable price (or at least a pair so I could pair them up with Rayray's)

a set of 16" 4x100 RS's wont be cheap from japan though. If they were, I'd have a set already. Even pairs are costly.

                    They've got a set and it's $2k:

I suppose that's what I should be allowing for minimum (+ postage).

They'd be nearly 3K landed to ya door.

Have seen some sets go much cheaper, but you'd still be looking at close to 2K. (wheels alone)

(this is what I mean by, not cheap! lol) Good luck on your quest.

Forget about investing in shares, property, etc. - just buy some BBS RS wheels! I wonder what they'll be worth in 10 or 20 years time?

They won't be cheap from anywhere to be honest.

If you are willing to wait getting them put on a ship works out a lot cheaper. Cost me $300 on top to my door.

The 3K was shipping by sea (then + air freight to Darwin). It's thier commission that kills it, especially when the wheels alone are nearly 2K.

                              BBS rs003 16x7 and 16x8
I would consider selling them for the right offer.
