Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

i know its a pain in the ass but have you considered getting your wheels repainted? depending on location etc price varies from $100 to $140 each rim it could work out cheaper than another set of immac denvers..

yeah actually i've looked into that. Not really 100% sure where the best place to go was. i've been told if you want quality repair and paint, it could cost up to $300 to make it perfect. I have also called some recommended places that quoted roughly $160 per rim, but i wasn't really sure how the quality of the repair would be and if it would be noticeable. So i figured it would be much easier if i looked for someone selling a set. but the Reconditioning isn't out of the topic still. So if anyone could shed some light on their experience and maybe recommend places in Brissy that would be great.
        cheers guys

I can highly recommend these guys. I have dealt with them and have been very happy with price and result. If you choose to go this way, tell them Brian from Europcar sent you.

          Good luck
