Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • SA WTB Mk3 rear disc brake setup

Im looking for the entire Mk3 brake setup. Including the hub, disks, calipers, pads, etc.

Pretty much everything that is needed to bolt them onto the rear axle. Also need them to be in decent working condition. Just want to swap and bolt and not worry about wheel bearings etc.

Speak to Matt (Golf Loon) at Camden GTI, he should have everything but is in Sydney (sure he can ship it all over).
If you want somewhere local, try Tim at Volkstorque down South, he has just about everything and wrecks heaps of MK3s

We have a couple of complete kits like that $100 each, freight is $25
You get stub axle, brake shield, caliper and bolts used wheel bearings, disk and pads
What car is it going on?
If a Mk1, you will also need handbrake cables from overseas or specially made and some way of adjusting the brake bias.
For Mk1s, I recommend the Mk3 Drum setup, which allows you to use your current handbrake cables and if you also upgrade the front brakes the bias will be fine.
Similar pricing, call or email to order.
