  • NSW 17" rims for Golf GTD (eg. Vision, Karthoum, etc.)

Bought a white golf GTD recently. Don't really like the original seattle shadow wheel. Interested to see if anyone selling any 17" OEM VW wheels to fit my current tyres.

I saw this VOLKSWAGEN ALLOY WHEELS ,17 INCH, GOLF JETTA, PASSAT | eBay 17 wheel from ebay but don't know whether that looks good on my GTD and whether they will fit my current tyres. I saw tempe tyre also sells some VW style wheels but have no idea about their services.

Please let me know if you see any suitable wheels.

    Thanks in advance

Hey Rob, thanks for your reply. But I am not interested in GTI rims and also I would love to use my current tyres on my car.

this is how a Mk6 Golf will look with those EOS / Passat OEM Wheels

The OEM Le Mans wheel (made by BBS) is 17x7.5 offset +47, so it sits quite nicely (4mm more flush than the OEM GTD Seattle wheels).

I would avoid any Tempe replicas for a >$40k car.

Or go for lightweight Enkei wheels, <8kg each. OEM is >10kg each.

I was looking at the same photo a minute ago. That actually looks quite nice, guess would be better if the Golf comes with skirt. I checked my tyre just now. It is Potenza 225/45 R17 91W. Do you know if this gonna fit the Le Mans wheel?

This was my previous car, 118TSI, hence no side skirts. It had OEM Mk6 GTI suspension and so it sits nicely on the photo.

I had Conti Sports Contact 2 in 225 45 17, so your Potenza RE050 will fit perfectly onto the 17x7.5 Le Mans

I got mine for dirt cheap in eBay, $200 all four, but had to drive a bit to collect them.
