I've just moved into the world of Van's with an old T4 1.9D 1994.
However, just been for inspection and to get it on the road, i need a few things.
These are things i had not expected, and not considered a issue to get a pink slip.
I thought i'd sign up here and see if any of you guys may have some of these part knocking around as i'm on a tight budget thats getting out of hand.
I need an exhaust, front to back.( I thought it was fine, but apparently it is blowing and wont pass pink slip, he said they come out and an audit is due!) Now hopefully people here have upgraded to aftermarket exhausts and may have the original sitting in their shed, or maybe an aftermarket one that they decided not to use. TO be honest anything, or any ideas so i don't have to shell out too much
I also apparently need a new drivers seat. I'm sure i could stitch it up or get a cover, its really not that bad, but the garage has highlighted it as an issue, so it needs fixin i guess.
Lastly my steering wheel leather and padding etc turns, and is free from the wheel (if that makes sense) WOuld any steering wheel fit on?, maybe a smaller more compact one. Again, any advise or offers would be appreciated.
These are none of the issues i took it to the garage for, these are just unexpected extras to get it on the road!
