Hey looking for a trim lit for a 5 door. Want to get the cal look and take all chrome off anyone know where i can get black trim for the mk 1 golf?????

Should have put a set in your suitcase!
There hard to find, I had one missing from mine and found the exact one sitting on a scrap car at golf loons place.
There's also a tape you can get, instead of the trim if your really desperate.
You can buy kits from the UK, shipping would be expensive tho due to size.

Saw you driving along pittwater yesterday your new rims look slick!!! Would have beeped but my horn not working. I ordered some from the german website type 17 35 euros postage but means i can get the golf going the cal look way after respray. Slowly collecting everything together. Mate which site was the coilovers you reckon was good and do ya know anyone who can pull my engine out degrease prime and spray bay and degrease and repaint engine. Running fine want it looking new????

The coilovers I told you about are some german shop off ebay. No idea who pulls engines out and resprays I'm afraid. You could do it yourself...
