Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW WTB: 17 - 18 - 19 inch wheels for T5 Transporter.

Want some second handy wheels for my TRansporter. Had 22's but the boys in blue kept giving me large tickets....

want something that's looks stock and is a little wider than the 16x6.5's that come stock...

Interested in some second handy Tiguan rims but I don't know if they will fit.

no they wont fit your T5 cause your pcd is 5X120 and tiguan is 5X112
there is heaps wheels out with 5x120 like bmw and commodore but again offset is different
try some old BMW wheels series 5 they had big offset so they sticking out a loot and at they at least 7-8 inch wide
    Cheers

I qwill try the commodore wheels as I had a VE SSV Ute and that had a load rating, so hopefully the wheels are load rated something similar, I never pack the van full, only carries a race bike (180 kilo's max) at a time....
