ah jesus!! i just chucked mine out. the tie rod ends were prob ok (not shot) and the tie rods were fine. I am almost sure the tie rods are in the bin that was picked up the other day.
by control arms, do you mean the whole LCA?

I need to speak to mechanic friend, but I believe the tie rod is the whole arm and not just the end, the control arm bushes so not neccasarily the whole arm.
