the time has come !! im needing a 1.8l head k jet and maybe a block too as the core plug is leaking so i think it mite be too corroded ? and thermostat ...if anyone could help me out or lead me a way , thanks

I don't see you needing a block for a leaky core plug. Dig it out clean it up and ft a new one.
What's the K-jet head to go on, nothing in your sig would use one? The K-Jet and digifant heads can be swapped around in a lot of cases. I have done it myself in the past.

well its a kjet engine !! just means if i change it to digifant it will be alot of hassle to get rid of the injection system ? and the fuel supply !!! thats why i was considering to stick with a jetronic head, also if the core plugs leak wouldnt that be a rusty block ?Originally posted by h100vw View PostComment

Probably have one here however it would need an overhaul ( valves + seals ) before fitting to the engine block. Have you got the original head off and had it checked ??Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...
If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??
