Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    WA Mk2 carby throttle cable

    Guys, I need to bring my 20vT conversion to a close but I need some bits urgently to get it drivable asap!

    If anyone out there has a CARBIE Mk2 throttle cable they are willing to sell please let me know. It's the rhd, 1360mm long one. The part number is 192 721 555.

    Please dont waste my time with bodged up 'modified' old cables, or incorrect parts that "should fit"

    I tried the dealers and they can't get them anymore from Germany...

    These guys have them. GSF | Cheap Discount Car Parts | Euro German Japanese | VW BMW Audi Ford Peugeot

    Good place for all those RHD cables. Also a good source of Scirocco handbrake cables for rear disc conversions.

      Yep, this is where i get all my minor parts from, quick delivery too as they have a warehouse at Gatwick airport.
      Just need to really specify the part you need when ordering.
