Also looking for some Front seats and all mounting clips, bolts, pins, zip ties ect .. prefer cloth ones, light brown colour. or if you have matching rears ill take them too

I have some seats out of a nissan with custom mounts (bit iffy) and need to get car into VIC rego asap, so dont want hassle of different seats.
Also need both seat belts and all bolts, clips ect as i had to use different setup.

          Dan,

Have a look on ebay.com from the US...there's heaps of Mk 1 gear knobs new from $42 + postage and considering I paid AUD$80 + postage from that dodgy Cam guy in QLD, that's prob. not bad value!!!

Ball joints and bearings you'll need to get new - try VolksBaru or your local VW service place. There's two sizes in the ball joints 15mm and 17mm make sure you order the size to suit your car. Best to check.

Front Bearings need to pressed into the steering knuckles. I can assist with this. See How to replace front wheel bearings

Lower arm bushes can be ordered through SuperCheap Auto from the SuperProPoly range.

IIRC, most 76'ers had 15mm's and sometime in 77 i believe (or late 76) they changed to bigger 17mm. Given yours is a 79, I'd put my money on them being 17mm's.

I might also have a standard gearknob poking around, I'll get back to you.
