Okay they may have sourced a pair for Spyda... and I have put through the requests for the rest of you, except JD, need to know doors.
Ohhh and before people miss this point and I am happy if people want to withdraw if not understood... please note:
These strips are not "Brand New" they are used, but considered in "Very Good Condition". (Good for many years to come)
This is kinda why they are $120 a strip and not the $350 a strip VW quoted me on....
My mate from germany replied and you cant get them OEM new anymore, they are the distributor of mk1 and mk2 parts and he said he hasnt seen one for sale in about 2 yrs... Sorry!
----[ Finished the search for a mk2 GTI]----
1990 Golf Mk2 GTI
276* cam
2 1/4 in straight through exhaust
H&R springs on KYB shocks
Well as per the pic, the outer piece that looks like 2 pieces is actually one... this is the drip rail that I am sourcing as everyone seems to have the exact same issue as per the pic. The inner rubber is the door seal which is NOT what we are listing here, I haven't looked but I believe since the door seal is a "Standard" strip, it's rather easy to come by... unlike the drip rails.
Yeah I read through that a while back, doesn't seem to be a "real" fix though...
By the way, want to see me your car???
DAMN! - One of only a few MkII 16v 3dr GTI's in AUS!
Been thinking of importing one for my project, but need to save some $$$ for the next few months...
Anyway, will see what we can work out about the strips...
