Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • SA TFSI Diverter Valve (DV), Rev. G

    After a DV for an Audi A3 2.0T. Part no. 06H-145-710 G.

I actually have the revision D installed at the moment, but the car has never quite felt the same after the original diaphragm valve ripped. Dyno results also suggest the car is down about 20 kw. I believe the piston of the DV isn't making a perfect seal (you can hear a whistle noise under boost which was never there before).

Hopefully with everyone upgrading to the Rev D and the Forge DV there should be a few just lying around in people garages.

    Cheers

i have a second hand G revision one in working condition. Was taken off a car with 30,000kms on it. I can express post it to you for $50.

The D revision should work fine. You do need to be careful that it is installed correctly though as there is a small post on it that needs to locate properly otherwise it can leak badly.
