Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I am chasing a set of 16 inch steel wheels in the 5x112 stud pattern. I'm after the pursuit style rim.

really hard to come by! i found this out the more difficult way.

they only VAG cars they came on were *some t4 transporters, and audi a3s - specifically the tdi-e 8P.

otherwise you can go to mercedes and there a few available in full size spares etc.

You got a pic of the ones you mean?

You could try collecting a set of 98-04ish Passat spare wheels. They are usually steel...

      We have one here haha!

would you want old transporter ones?
they are freakin heavy though. obviously made to hold up transporters so the metal is really thick on them. i dont know if i can get them but i may be able to.

No worries mate. I think the t4 was the transporter with 112.5 pcd. Thanks for the effort though.

the t4 has the same PCD as AUDIs and later model VWs (passat, mk5/6). the t5 has the same stud pattern as a commodore funnily enough.

how much are you willing to spend on steel wheels..?
