      Wow, awesome site.

Makes me want to upgrade to a K04 on my Polo... Feel like a little project?

Saw this on eBay - not sure where you got your last one, but this looks legit

No idea if it's a good price or not.

        Cheers.

Yea not sure where you got the last dud from shane, but be sure not to unwittingly buy the same turbo from a different supplier. Check out where the next one is made before committing to buying.

I must say I was suspicious from the start when you said how cheap it was.

Sometimes the cheap fix is a nice idea, until something like this happens and you end up paying three times as much.

Sometimes when things break on a car there is no cheap fix... a lesson for us all

Shanem, did you buy your dud via Ebay?

if so, I'd contact ebay and advise them you were falsely sold a replica and ask them to intervene

Little trick: a KKK K03s does not mean it was a Borg turbo. The wripoffs happen to use the same code. Make sure it was a Borg one, they will usually advertise it as such if it is (and is usually more than double if new).

Double EDIT . - this turbo has only done 35k btw.

yer just realised the exhaust housing sits differently for obvious reasons.

yeah its been a lesson i tell you all !!

on ebay i looked at the feedback and all that and saw good replies , and then had a gander today , and saw some bad comments on the same ko3 that i got only a few days ago , but they spent 600 on the last bids ,
thats where i thought i got a good deal going by all the bids on the previous auctions on the same ko3 .

well now i have got well thinking of getting one in town , perth , a brand new one for 1500 in box , was deliverd here , and is the only one floating around australia ??? money money lol

have been in contact with the seller and waiting on a reply very shortly !!

just a little advise - www.dieselvw.com and www.volkswaparts.com are the same seller, and all their turbo's are chinese. now, i have a T3 from there, i ran it for a little while but then swapped to a genuine one because it suited me better. still have hte chinese one - seems OK but look, you need to know what your buying.
