NSW Mk1 golf 3 door

The VR is up for sale now n im looking to get a good shape mk1 instead. Ive found several good 5 doors and even one which I may settle for but i really would prefer that 3 door mk1 look. Im looking for one in original condition with good interior and body (i know aren't we all) so any help from you guys as to where i may find one would be much appreciated.

That one in vic is the one that dom owned briefly. the body is actually in pretty good nick, only exception being the 'crazing' on the bonnet, and all the other standard small dingss/scratches etc.

interior (bar the dash) is also mint!

The guy selling it is one of my mates, and I've also driven the car before.

the front right corner of the bonnet has got all these cracks all over it. as if it's been resprayed (the corner only) in the wrong type of paint & had a bad reaction so to speak.

similar to this.



the engine is a strong runner, but it has a bearing noise, not sure which one, but some bearing (probably big end) will need to be replaced at some stage, or a replacement (or upgrade ) engine found. car still runs and drives.

spoke to the guy apparently its not running or barely running which really isnt ideal and the interiors been anal raped! id buy it for peanuts but perhaps would rather spend a bit more for a better one. Nice looking car none the less.

maybe it just needs a tune. was running super when i had it.

yeah, he stuffed up the interior bad, but putting those speakers in it.

i reckon its worth the money, considering the paint job was double whats he asking for the whole car!

yeah engine shouldnt be too much of an issue just that interior makes me wanna cry... its not that easy to find mk1 interior bits either

yeah, your right. his the one that stuffed it up with the speakers and back seats.

but, you can always rip all that stuff out and buy the interior of lawny if he did sell his. he had the door cards and seats... and very cheap.

consider it man...

you don't find many good looking mk1's like that one. + those rims are super cool on it and worth abit of money. we brought them over from serbia back in the day.
