rings for the 1.6 k jet are as follows
top ring 0.070" thick
middle ring 0.080" thick
bottom oil scraper ring 0.160" thick.
how much wear is in the bores? Use an inside micrometer and measure top middle and bottom of the bores. If it has more than 0.005" wear and or an obvious step at the top of the bore get new 0.020" oversize pistons and bore and hone it.sigpic
