Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

        Knew I'd seen them somewhere.

This Guy will ship you the smaller type. Check out his other stuff too. Some amazing bits and pieces.

I'd go for the smaller type front lip, you will be surprised how many times you will hit it if you are lowered. I'm pretty sure they are available locally also and they still look really good, the two piece big ones are hard to come by.

If your buying from Ben, make sure you get the postage sorted, last shipment took 2 1/2 months to get here, Had NO joy in Ben responding to e-mails in trying to track the stuff down.
              Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

              Cheers,
              Grant...

Yeah, he goes by the name Moogie something but Ben is his name and I am still waiting on some bits I ordered a while ago. Having said that, stuff from the USA is totally random in how long it takes to ship...I have had stuff within 5 days and another time it took nearly 3 months!

by gti grill i take it you mean twin headlight? stick with the single i say looks a hundred times cleaner.

coilovers pm evorobin he does good prices and good guy to deal with
bumpers golf loon had a set of chromes may have sold them buy now as this was a while back, im sure he will point you in the right direction though.

best bet for your roofracks is to try all your local wreckers as most old ones are interchangeable, take a picture so they know what your talking about, i spent a whole day searching for mine the place that had them in the end had originally said they didnt keep anything like that, wasnt until i got talking to the guy and he took me out back to show me something that we found two sets in a parts pile

I have Mk1 Spoilers brand new of both kinds on the water 10 weeks away.

I have New or rechromed Chrome bumpers galore, but they sell overseas for $1000 for a complete set with all the rubbing strips, endcaps, irons and blinkers.

Bit cheaper for aussies who just want the bars, but they are still dear.
