NSW '93 VW Cabrio Front Brake Pads + Clips!

Hi,
Im looking for a set of front brake pads WITH calliper clips for a '93 VW Golf Cabriolet.

I know I could get them from Autobahn etc..but they won't tell me if they come with the clips or not, which is what i really need.

I won a Jurid front pad set on ebay a few weeks ago but they cancelled my payment because they were out of stock,wtf?

u want clips due to rattle?
i shot some silicone onto the 'clip area through the space in the mag wheel in the evening and let it cure through the night.
just a 4mm cube size.on each pad...job done

Hmm..sounds a bit dodgy to me, think ill go with the clips.
I found a pad set with the clips on ebay just hope they have them in stock this time!

the car has done 289,000 and no rattles
same as Mk3 pads ??
what are yours?
I have a nos set of discs and near new pads on it to sell off

Not dodgey at all, You can buy the stuff at a decent auto parts store packaged as brake anti squeal paste. Smear it on the back of the new pads where the caliper piston will push and let it cure. Been around for years.

Hmm..cheers guys ill have a look, but the pads arnt squeling..their rattling due to no clips holding the pads.

Karmen, thanks mate..but ive just bought a Pagid front pad set with the anti rattle clips/springs.
