    HELP PLEASE.....need longer wheel lugs!

    I tried putting my 10mm spacers on last night and with only 3.5 full turns on the lugs to tighten the wheels in, I thought it would be best they stay off until I get some longer lugs.

    So, on my venture around the GC today I found out my current wheel lugs are M14 x 1.50 with a tapered seat and 32mm thread length. I'm guessing to make them "safe" with the spacers I will need at least a 42mm thread length.

    Does anyone know where I can buy the euro style (screw into the hub) wheel lugs in the specs I am after? I only need 10 of them for the back wheels.

    You'll need to have ones with rounded tapers on them too.

    I would have thought ebay would be a good place to look. I just bought some spacers with bolts from dubaigti. They have the right taper, maybe shoot him a PM and ask where they came from??

      No I have tapered seats on my wheels, not ball seats.

        I would have though any wheel suppliers would have them then. Not VW wheels I take it.

          Nope, IMPUL wheels.

          A lot of spare parts places and wheel suppliers have lots of wheel lugs and nuts, but only lugs that are hammered into the hub the screw-on wheels nuts that go with these lugs. We don't have this style set-up. I imagine you already know but ours are the euro style which are bolts that screw into the hub.

            don't bother looking you'll either have to get them made or buy them online (I'll get you a link to where I got mine in a second), every tyre shop or wheel shop I went to said they didn't sell them one place I could see them marked in a tub behind the counter and they still said no

              they do all sizes of wheel bolts. You can order through a local motor shop.
