Wtb: 93 Mk1 Golf 1.8 Alternator!

Hey guys,
Im in need of an alternator for a mk1 golf 1.8 8v, 1993 model.
Been quoted $300 2nd hand fitted or $650 new fitted.

Any help much appreciated

Just to add...Could also get my current alternator recond as it looks new.
Any alternator reconditioners in Sydney?

Depends what's wrong with the alternator, chances are it could be reco'd though.

PM Golf Loon. He should be able to hook you up with a second hand one, probably cheaper than getting one reconditioned/
