there is plenty of info on this comversion on vwvortex. A few people have done it now. The problem is. You have more clearance but if you do hit the R32 sump there is more chance of it cracking.

Also note that only the Mk V R32 sump has more clearance.

This is a mod i'll be doing before the vr is back as the R32 sumps are also baffled

where would you source one from? brand new i thinks would cost 600 maybe more

from the dealership the pan and pump was just under 600 from memory

part numbers.

pan - 022 103 601 R
pump - 022 115 105 E
