Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • WTB: 18 or 19" 5 x 100, 35 offset wheels

    Hey,

Looking for a set of 18 or 19" wheels for my 03 Bora 4motion.

Must be a 35 offset, and only want to go to 8" wide.

Must be in top condition too. My pet hate is gutter rash!

    Show me what you've got!

Have you got a particular budget number in mind for wheels and tyres? Lots of wheel nuts on here can point you in lots of directions, they just need to know how much you're willing to spend for wheels

Yeah I am working on a budget, but wont be buying rubbish just because it's cheap. Im not fussed on brand name wheels, like wont spend heaps just to get BBS's. I'm pretty open on styles, like there's lots of different ones I like the look of - just no chrome! Price Im willing to go will depend on age and condition of wheels, and if they have tyres etc.

Really just looking for anything that people might have thats still in good condition and I like the look of that they may want to get rid of, and they can say what theyre willing to sell for

Im at Coffs Harbour, NSW. Dont mind paying postage for the right rims

The rims on that Audi are nice, are they Axis Hiro's by any chance? If theyre the right stud pattern and offset I'm interested!
