Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    MK4 Centre Armrest?

    has anyone got a centre armrest for a MK4? was after one with black cloth, however would consider any type...

    need a place to hide my ipod and a few other items...

    looks like the ebay ones are a bit 'el dodgo', so i thought id post up here before i consult the stealership...

      ebay ones are a bit crappy i had one,

      genuine one will cost you over $800.00 i priced it up from my mate at a dealer.
      a4 1.8tq,s4 mirrors,genuine,a8,wheels,black side markers,rs4 grill, apr r1 dv,neuspeed springs 2" drop waiting for haltech ecu

          yher i rang today and almost dropped the phone when they told me how much, how the hell do they think someone will actually buy one for that price i dont know...

          may have to just keep an eye on ebay.uk or something and find someone which is willing to send one to good old down under...

          hopefully someone has got one on here tho...

            i have a wid e and a narrow one which may suit either or both of you they are a dark leatherlook vynil and held in with just 2 screws or so. ha ha

              I have a black cloth one from a Passat which may or may not be the same. Could very well be though. $50.
