Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

        Budget upto $1200 with decent tyres/ incl shipping if required

        From what I've been able to find on the Forums, I should be able to fit 18x8.5 with an offset between 30+ and 42+ without too much hassle.... If anyone reading this can provide there personal experience with fitment on a Mk4 GTI that'd be great

          8.5et30 is ideal with a bit of a drop. I daily drove that size on both coilovers and air.
