Item Description:
US Amps AX TU600C amplifier
Website for more info:
US Amps was taken over by RE Audio, they no longer make these amps.
I have catalogues from that era, as well as a tech sheet that explains the unusual design.
Item Condition:
Unused, still in box with protective film on the perspex panel (as seen in pictures)
Price and price conditions:
Purchase price was well over $1000, will sell for $600
Reason for selling:
Different direction with audio setup, I need a big 4 channel amp
Extra Info:
US Amps have a long history of making high end car audio amps,
This is not an ordinary amp that you might buy from JB, the internal design is quite different.
(having said that, it still gets used and wired just like any other car audio amp)
Internally, It has a tube input stage, and current sync drive output.
They mention this drives output by current, as opposed to voltage.
The intention is to retain the purity of the valve input, without the clinical sound of traditional solid state output. (more detail on the tech sheet)
Power:
2X 165WRMS @ 4ohm
2X 300WRMS @ 2ohm
1 X 600WRMS @ 1ohm
Takes 1awg power input and 8awg speaker outputs.
Photos:
The smaller amp is the one for sale/swap, i'm keeping the larger amp.
As mentioned above protective film has not yet been removed.

Will also consider trade for an intake for a Golf R with cash adjustment if needed
Most interested in VWR style intake
