Hi all.
Some lenses I want to sell off. I'm not photographing much anymore and when I do, I don't often use my zooms so here they are for sale.
Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 $400
Technical info and review at dpreview.com. I bought this lens second-hand on eBay. Fortunately it was a fantastic copy, quick to focus, no focus hunting problems. I've used it extensively on my trips up and down the east coast as well as for car shoots. That said I've always used the lens hood and a filter, and have caps front and rear (all included). The glass is flawless, the focus and zoom ring moves like it should, and the body is markless. Can't be faulted. I can provide some pics I've taken with this lens upon request.
Tokina 16-50mm f/2.8 $600
Technical info and review at photozone.de. I bought this lens new overseas as the price locally was insane. It's in the same category as the Sigma 17-50mm, Canon 17-55mm and the popular Tamron 17-50mm. The Tokina has a superior build quality and you can instantly feel it when you handle the lens; as a result, it's quite heavy and large. DigitalCameraWarehouse sells this lens for $1119 currently. I bought this to replace the Sigma 17-70mm I had been using and while I miss the macro capabilities of the 17-70mm, it was very handy to be able to shoot at the long end of the focal range in low-light situations. Glass is spotless, focus and zoom ring are nice and stiff, AF/MF mechanism still snaps back and forth like new, but the body (on the focus ring) has two slight textured defects. Not sure how that happened (I've never dropped the lens or hit it against anything), but it definitely doesn't affect the image quality. I can provide some pics I've taken with this lens upon request. Other's samples can be found here - http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...=330731&page=4.
