Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • VIC FS - Dynastar Skiis

Getting ready for the new ski season and that of course means a new set of skiis.

I have for sale a set of Dynastar Supra ski's which were used for one week last season in Queenstown so there was plenty of snow and no chance to scratch the bottom of the skiis. They are beginner to intermediate skiis, size 158 (very easy on a beginner).

I bought the skiis halfway through the season last year having been convinced to go on the week snow trip, paid $500 for them but unfortunately I've outgrown them in skill.
The skiis are in perfect "AS NEW" condition having only been used very lightly as I was a learner, so green/blue runs, no moguls and definately no offpiste.

Skiis will come with bindings as well, looking for $250.00.
Local pick-up only at this stage, I live in Melbourne and freight to send a pair of skiis interstate would cost quite a bit due to the awkward shape of the skiis.

Don't know what you're supposed to take pictures of, but I think this should cover it all...
    Cheers!

Guys I bought a new pair of skiis and the guys at the shop offered to do a full service on these ones prior to sale. They are currently in the shop until Saturday but they are really almost brand new. They will be sharpened and re-waxed and smoothed out so at $250.00 it is really a steal for anyone looking to start their skiing experience

P.S. Thanks to the snowfall yesterday I've booked for a sunday night at Buller over the long weekend, what a great surprise and a great way to test out my new skiis..hope it's not too busy up there!
