After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    VIC Infinity Reference 6030CS + Infinity Reference 6032CF - $400 for the set.

    Hi Guys,

    I put these in my Polo however they aren't recommended to be run with the new head unit I am getting because they are technically 2ohms.

    They have been installed for about 2 weeks, not to much use. Still have boxes, manuals etc.

    Infinity Reference 6030CS:



    SPECIFICATIONS

    Sensitivity (2.83V @ 1m) 93dB

    Mounting Depth 2-1/16" (52mm)

    I am looking for $400 for the set. Pickup in Outer East Melbourne Suburbs, or I can drop off if your in the Melbourne area as I drive around alot during the day. I can post however I will provide you with a price once I have got your postcode.

            What size are these speakers ? And do you have any pics of the actual speakers in question ?

              6030CS are 6.5inch mid range and 1 inch tweeter.
              6032CF are 6.5inch

              I don't have any pics but I can take some and upload them if your interested.

                    Just to let you know, Infinity claim they are 4 ohm but with a 2 ohm voice coil.

                    Here is a snippet from their website:

                    True Four Ohms— All Reference speakers feature two ohm voice coils. Original factory-installed speaker wiring in many cars is 18-22 gauge. This wire, and heating in the voice coil when power is applied, increase the impedance “seen” by the amplifier or head unit. The impedance of Reference Speakers has been adjusted to compensate for this increase and can be safely driven by any head unit.
