Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I'm covering my costs. I'm not expecting to make money, anything above and beyond the opening bid is a bonus.

aaaaahh memories- my first car almost 12 years ago was a clean silver 91 VN.

Auto 3.8 V6. I lowered the bejeezus out of it- tinted the windows so dark I could barely reverse in the dark- k&n air filter - 2.5" and extractors....

Those were my brooding days when I spent alot of time with mates cruising to obscure places to do... Obscure things.

I am far from "old" but thinking back to those times I feel like a grand pa!!!!

this VN is actually my parents old car. It spent many years as my daily driver as well. I can vouch for the fact that it has been one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. Just keeps on going and refuses to die. Never used a drop of oil

..... That you probably should give to the original owners.
