Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    WA beltronics sti radar detector

    hey all,

    reluctantly selling my radar detector because i could really use the funds so,
    is a couple years old, still works perfectly. is one of the best on the market and very reliable. 4 or 5 different tracel modes. comes with vertical windshield mount which is said to improve detection distance by up to 75%, and 12v lead with remote silencer button. can post aust wide for an extra $15

      unfortunately this one in other states is detectable by radar detector detectors so no good to me!

      $1000+ & confiscation in NSW

            Are you sure?

            The BelTronics STi is supposedly undetectable by the latest detection methods used... Check the video in the link above and/or youtube.

            I certainly don't condone illegal use of this unit in the Eastern states, but Beltronics market this product as undetectable by the latest incarnations of Radar Detector Detectors.
