Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Getting a bit sick of my wired mouse and keyboard. Wondering if anyone has something in wireless that they would rather swap for beer/bit of cash? Don't want anything flashy, and the keyboard MUST not be one of those stupid ''ergonomic'' curved keys ones. Ideally a similar setup to my keyboard (keyboard buttons are preferred):

Actually...also if anyone has a newish (like..pentium 4 or newer, something half decent) computer or some parts they would like to get rid of on the cheap let me know cos mine works but not 100%

    Cheers.

If you just want a basic PC to browse VWW , I have a AMD XP2000 PC (same as Pentium 4) , let me know if that suit you.

Jump on ebay, usually heaps of refurbished logitech stuff to choose from... for less than a slab of corona.

HAHA! I totally and utterly forgot about ebay...oops!

Steve that keyboard would be alright but I don't like the supposed ''ergonomic design'' ones...I just want a simple flat, straight one without any of that handrest crap on it haha.

BEST site for PC parts in oz. There isn't actually anything for sale there, but anyone who sells parts for cheap will list it there. It's like the google of aussie PC parts.

Shop for logitech wireless desktop and compare logitech wireless desktop prices. Find the best deals on Australia's tech price comparison shopping site

Like Steve has already said, MSY are cheap.
