Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW SEAT CUPRA parts (some real nice ones..)

    Hey guys,

Have a Seat Ibiza Cupra that I'm using as a donor car (some may crucify me for tearing this apart) and I have a good list of things that will hopefully come to good use!
It's a 1998 model, 2L ABF 16V (engine and gearbox are what I'm taking) and has the following for the taking:

    - H&R Cup Kit shocks and springs (30mm drop?) - $150

    - Brakes I will say as a whole kit (rotors, callipers, booster, hubs if needed for a conversion) - $500 UP FOR GRABS IF SALE FALLS THROUGH

    - Intake Manifold - $150 UP FOR GRABS IF SALE FALLS THROUGH

    - Interior Pieces (half coloured leather being a Cupra) anything from seats, dash, panels, name it! - $Throw me an offer

    - Garlock EPROM chip (nice rare bit of gear from Germany - google the complete details, but seeing as going down the carbs route, no need for it) - $250

    - Wiring Loom - $200 UP FOR GRABS IF SALE FALLS THROUGH

    - 16V Extractors - $throw an offer!

A few parts have already had enquiries and 'dibsed' but if these sales fall through, they are up for grabs!

Pictures can be sent out as requested, just shoot me a pm and I'll gather some images for you. The car is currently with a friend of mine kindly keeping it on his property for me, so I will do my best to organise the dismantling or taking of photos for everyone when I can slip down to the car and pull whatever you need from it!

If there's anything else on the car you may need, feel free to send me a pm and I can hopefully help organise something for you!

    Cheers

    Simon
