Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW Batteries - Varta & Supercharge

    Have 2 brand new batteries here, 1 is up for grabs. Supercharge battery had a dead cell, and a purchased a Varta thinking the warranty has expired on it. Appears that it was still under manufacturers warranty and got a straight replacement by Supercharge.

    SuperCharge GoldPlus MF66H (replacement received 06/01/2017) - $160. Cheapest I can find them for around the area is from Autobarn, $229.
    Varta E44 (purchase date 04/01/2017) - $265. Battery World Castle Hill quoted me $320 and did not budge with pricing.

    Pickup only from Rhodes 2138.
