We have decided to part out our VW Bora...
It is a Black '2000' model V5 Bora with Beige/Black Leather Interior.

Now, most parts are available.
And yes, the car does have 350,000+ km's on it.


Yes, this is the car that we had cluster issues with...
The cluster issue has been resolved, but due to the big question marks over it, and the lack of a cluster at a reasonable price when needed, this car has been replaced.


However, here is a start to what is available...


$200 - Suspension Package (Less than 20,000km's on it)

• GTI Springs
• Well matched Bilstein 'sports' shocks
• Front lower control arms with uprated R32 rear bushing and normal front bushing.

$250 - 'VR' 5 Speed Gearbox

• Should fit any VR5/VR6 motor, and it's the 'simpler' FWD box, rather than a 4wd 4 motion box.
• Has never had any gear change issues
• Will come with the selector cables, gear stick, etc.
• Was replaced with a second hand unit at ~250,000km's prior to our purchase, so not sure of it's 'true' milage.

$100 - Engine / ECU / Key / 'Repaired'/Resynced Cluster
Yes, it's seen a few KM's, but it should suit someone after spare parts/etc for theirs...


Also, the full front end is there is anyone is considering a 'BOLF' conversion...

How are the headlights? Not just cloudiness but also the condition of the wires in the back? Do they have fogs?

What kind of internal rear view mirror is it?

Headlights are ok. Yes a little cloudy, but they will polish up nicely. They do have the fog lights, and the height adjusting motors. To the best of my knowledge, the wiring is fine too.

Mirror is the non tinting one without the light sensor.

What colour is the mirror trim? My auto tinting one is dead and I'm not going to spend the money on a new one.

How much do you want for the headlights? And, can you post to Sydney?
