Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    SOLD R32 Mk4 Genuine Exhaust w/quad tips modified to suit Bora 4motion / Golf

    Hi there,


    I'm selling my Genuine R32 Mk4 exhaust system. These exhausts sound amazing on Boras, increase power, reduce weight as they're made out of stainless steel and have a factory fitted variable sound valve.


    They are highly sought after and rare to find, this one especially considering its a direct fit to a Bora 4motion.


    The exhaust system has dual tips fitted to both pipes (worth $80 each!) making it a quad pipe look. The tips fit perfectly within the Oettinger valence. I have the factory R32 exhaust tips as well.


    This exhaust has been professionally modified To be a direct fit onto the factory exhaust hangers for a Bora 4motion.


    Looking for $600 for it.

                Hi guys,

                Sorry for the delays here. Been a hell of a week last week but I'm back in business.

                The R32 exhaust is still attached to my car but I'm having it removed this week. Once it's off, I'll post up some pics for you all.

                  Beale187 - I still have most of the exhaust Seb originally fitted to my car and I will be selling it. PM me if you're interested in it

                  This listing is for an R32 exhaust I've had modified to fit the Bora's.

                  The one seb had was effectively had dual 2.5" straight pipes from the twin cat's to a VE commodore reasonator and small hotdog reasonators after that. Unbelieveable sound (like a V8!!) but was too loud for my liking. I had it cut off about 2" past the cat so you'll only need to have it slightly extended to fit on your car.

                    I think there's a bigger question in play here. If you're not putting on Seb's "Frankenstein" zhorst and you're removing the R32 one....
                    What exactly are you putting back on Laura? Interesting....

                      Just texted you back too. I'll try to get some pics of the exhaust on the car tomorrow morning - been raining here and the night goes dark before I get home. I should be able to get some pics of it attached to the car and then the whole exhaust once removed.

                      As for Laura - she's going back to stock and going to be sold. She was a cool car but I've got myself a new project

                            Sorry for the delay everyone - in a strange twist of fate this exhaust got badly damaged by the exhaust shop who removed it and been in negotiation with them to pay me for it. They've bought it off me so it's their problem now.
