Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW FS: Columbus (RNS510), Camera Module, 9w7 Bluetooth

    Hi all,

    Reverting to stock so selling off my complete set up. It is all functioning, maps and firmware last updated per VWWatercooled RNS510 thread.

    1. Columbus unit (RNS510)

    Coming off my Octavia but I understand can also fit VW. Will have green led buttons rather than red. Firmware and maps updated.





    Model number in pic.

    Asking $600 delivered.

    2. Camera module

    Used to plug an aftermarket camera rca plug into the factory Columbus (RNS510) head unit, enabling rear reversing camera on engaging reverse gear automatically.



    Not my pic but looks all the same.

    Asking $80 delivered.

    3. 9w7 Bluetooth with harness and mic.

    9w7 unit with harness and mic for direct plug in.

    Same as this pic however does not come with foam.



    Came out of 2010-2014 series vw, product code is 7P6 035 730C.

    Asking $300 delivered. Price drop.
    Now $250 delivered.

        Long shot,but would be interested in a trade for some Neptunes with 1mt old continental SC5's? Maybe some other parts?

            Off topic, can I ask how you got the pin code. I'm trying to get mine to put in my wifes car and it's like pulling teeth. All I get is the runaround by the dealers.

                  Does anybody know if this bluetooth module works with RCD510 on mk5 cars?
                  I know that it will not display anything on MFD as it's red, but can I answer calls via RCD and steering wheel button?
                  PS: I have a genuine Bosch RCD510 with RVC, taken off mk6 golf R.

                    Yes it will work with all rns510, rcd510...
