Finally got around to pulling the towbar off the s3. It's an OEM westfalia removable bar system designed specifically for the s3 and bora 4 motion (and other quattros/ 4 motions that we didn't get here in Oz).
Imported from the uk last year with locking key and still in fantastic condition. Simple installation and the westfalia towbar system is simply brilliant in terms of simplicity and quality of design.
The setup is completely hidden on the s3 when the tow bar piece is removed and no cutting of bumpers is required! Don't know if this is the case with the bora though...
Comes with:
Main bar to replace rear inner bumper bar.
Removable tow ball/ bar sections
Key
Westfalia bar bag
Westfalia ball cover
Large 7(?) pin connector (euro one that rotates in with big plugs) and about 0.7m of wiring. This is on a swing hing as well so the plug is hidden!
4x mounting bolts
All there and in simply great condition.
Imported for $800...
