Condition: Only been built in the last few months, a couple of very minor nicks in 2 of the lips from removing tyres, but they aren't noticeable. Lips have been re-polished in the last couple of weeks.
The Centres are BBS LM137 subaru spec centres. Powdercoated in a bronze/copper colour. CB has been opened up to 57.1 to fit VW/Audi. The are front mounted like original. Comes with Red and gold Centre caps. 3 are in good condition, while 1 of them has deteriorated. Not hard to find a replacement.
Chrome plated OEM BBS RS bolts used as the LM bolts were not long enough. Nuts are torqued to spec with loctite.
Whitehorse Industries spun the lips and barrels and they were welded by All Aluminium Welding in Sydney. The reason for this was that the centre spigot was not deep enough to seat both the lip and barrel, so I felt it was unsafe to run them just with the bolt supporting the weight of the barrel.
Hidden flush mounted valves are mounted in the barrels. Will supply the adapter for them. I never had trouble with them leaking and trust they will be fine in the future.
The fronts were built to use a spacer as the LM centre does not clear mkiv R32 brakes. With a 15mm spacer which I run they sit nicely. The rears clear the caliper by about 1mm. Never had trouble with that as well.
I didn't spare a single cent when putting these wheels together, so please dont offer me a pack of winnie blues, or a goon sack. The only reason I am selling is because the fronts will not work with the new brakes I have planned, and my dream wheels have come up for sale.
