Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    For sale RCD 310 and 2x RCD 510 one with camera plug
    I have a couple of units for sale on behalf of owners from vehicles which I've installed Nav units in these units are almost brand new.
    $75 negotiable for rcd 310
    $200 rcd 510 (Sold)
    $300 Bosch rcd510 with camera plug
    postage is extra
    I will install for free if required any where Sydney metro area
    Good upgrade for cars with older units.

            Hi there! Keen to update the unit in my Mk5 golf. Interested in your offerings but wanted to ask whether I needed a CAN BUS gateway (battery drain issue) and whether you could help me with this aspect of the installation too.
