  • QLD Custom Code Stage 1 ECU for Mk4 Golf GTI - $549

    Hey Guys,

I am selling my Custom Code Stage 1 ECU if there is interest.

    RRP is $749

The ECU identifier is '06A906018CH', as can be seen in the example picture below.

It is a straight swap and go install on Mk4 Golf GTI's with the above ECU identifier.

If the identifier is different, you will need access to VAGCOM to sync the new ecu with the cars immobiliser. Takes no more than 5 mins.

This has been a fantastic tune that really transforms the car into what it should have been from factory. The local support provided by Gavin (h100vw) of Optimum Code (Australian rep for Custom Code) is of a very high standard. He has helped me out on a few occasions when he really didn't have to and has always provided friendly local support. Thanks Gav!

If you are interested please send me a PM and we can sort out arrangements.

    Thanks

It will run in the early 99 cars easier, than the later ones. The immo changed and you need the SKC to match this ecu.

      Thanks Gavin.

Further to this, the immo Gavin is referring to is the 3rd revision of IMMO. Vagcom website qoutes:
      Immobilizer Generation 3
Many 2002 and newer Model Year vehicles sold in the North American Region (NAR) have Immobilizer 3 and there are other Rest of World (RoW) Vehicles with Immobilizer 3 as well.
So cars upto 2001 should be fine.

If you have vagcom there is a easy way to identify what IMMO your car is currently running:
To identify an Immobilizer 2 Vehicle, use VCDS to Select the Instrument Cluster (or Address 25 - Immobilizer in Vehicles with a separate Immobilizer Control Module) and look in the Extra Field. You should see a 14 digit Immobilizer ID Number such as Immo-ID VWZ7Z0W0648696. There should NOT be a 17 digit VIN Number in the Extra Fields
To identify Immo 3 vehicle, Use VCDS to Select the Instrument Cluster (or Address 25 - Immobilizer in Vehicles with a separate Immobilizer Control Module) and look in the Extra Field. You should see BOTH a 14 digit Immobilizer ID number and ALSO a 17 digit VIN number in the Extra fields like this: WVZKB58001H231169 VWZ7Z0W0648696.

would be perfect if I had cash. Might be able to sort something out.
Would this be a straight plug in for my 2000 gti?

Should do, so long as the Immo can be coded by VCDS. If not I have a way around that

I have a 2001 gti, which I think is actually a 2002 model (it was a demo car)... would it be difficult to get this working? If its not I would be keen!!
