Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    WA AutoPOLAR FIS Advanced (Brand New)

    EDIT: SOLD PENDING PAYMENT

    Hi All,

    I honestly thought I'd accidentally thrown this out, but after cleaning out the back seat of my car i found it again (amazing what you find in those seat pockets). So, because i purchased this for my 6R Polo GTI (which isn't compatible ) I'm going to offer it up for sale. It is brand new, never used and still in its original packaging.

    Asking $200 (which going by previous prices, is very fair)

    Payment methods: Cash on pickup, PayPal or Direct Deposit.

    I'll even post it Australia wide for free

    I would have to say these are worth the money. There are things they can set without having to connect up VDCS. They can do things to your car that cant be optioned with VDCS. My MK5 has 4 flashes for lane change and mirror dipping for reverse now. As for the pages in the display, brilliant. They do need a firmware flash for the type of dash in you car, but that is not hard to do.

      im going to +1 greg

      not to mention is can show anything the ecu can measure. ie, boost, injector duty cycle, ignition timing etc.
