Cheap servicing parts!

Hey guys,

Just putting this out there to see if anyone is interested, not intending to break any rules - please remove if it is.

I came across a guy on eBay who was selling very well priced air cabin filters. He had a phone number in the description so I decided to give him a call to see what else he could supply. Turns out he can bring in servicing parts e.g. oil filters, spark plugs, cabin air filters at great prices! Not sure if this will be a business, seems he's doing it on a small scale at the moment as he travels inbetween here and the UK (?).

I'm not in any way getting a stake in any of this but thought it might benefit you Skoda guys. If you like I can pass you his details, you'll have to deal with him directly as I have no idea on his stock and prices for other items.

So far I've only purchased cabin air filters which I EFT'd to him and promptly just received - I bought all the stock he had as they were so damn cheap!

Like I said, if its breaking any rules feel free to take it down, I guess forums aren't to benefit each other...

I paid under $20 for a cabin filter at the local independent Auto Accessory store, surprising how much crap gets trapped in there. Put an old towel or something on the floor to catch all the crap that comes out with the filter.

They aren't exactly cheap parts. Though, the one thing is certain, they're an unknown origin and who knows how well they were stored.

I wouldn't have a confidence to fit them, especially the filters.
