ACT Looking to Borrow Roof Racks for 1 week or so

Hi Folks,

i was wondering if someone would be generous enough to let me borrow their roof racks for no more than a week in the canberra region?
i need to get myself a 3m long step ladder, hence the need to place it on the roof racks to carry it 8 kms home.

i'm looking for the bar type.

i have a skoda octavia liftback. i believe many of the roof racks are interchangeable between the VAG family (vw, audi, skoda).

PM me if u can offer some assistance.
i'm happy to provide some gold coins in return

If you have a towbar then the trailers at bunnings can come in very handy for moving odd shaped objects. (just in case nobody has racks)

sadly i don't have one of those handy bits attached to my car
having said that, i still wouldn't b carrying a 3m long ladder on a trailer.

I've got some I won't be using until the snow season. Not sure if they will suit your car. I have a 08 Treg and the racks fit to the factory rails (not onto the little factory option rack things).

unfortunately the liftback doesn't have factory rails like the wagon version does, hence i'm looking for something that looks like this.....

if your in a pinch, I can help you take the ladder to where you need it. The Rok will handle a pesky 3m.
